Traveler’s Guide to What to Wear in Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan‘s climate is hot, but you‘ll still want to bring long-sleeved shirts and long pants and skirts to combat sunburns and bug bites. Stick to light colors, and lightweight breathable fabrics like cotton and linen, along with a sun hat and sunglasses.
Uzbekistan is predominantly Muslim, and typical religious norms apply to dress. Both men and women, but especially women, should stay covered from shoulders to knees.
