Traveler’s Guide to What to Wear in Tunisia

Tunisia‘s climate is hot, but you‘ll still want to bring long-sleeved T-shirts and long pants to combat sunburns and bug bites. Stick to light colors, and lightweight breathable fabrics like cotton and linen, along with a sun hat and sunglasses. You may be expected to dress up a bit more for dinners at hotels, restaurants and lodges - think collared shirts for men, and semi-casual dresses for women.

Tunisia is predominantly Muslim, and typical religious norms apply to dress. Both men and women, but especially women, should stay covered from shoulders to knees.
