Traveler’s Guide to What to Wear in Taiwan
Taiwan‘s climate ranges from its southern tropical regions to subtropical in the north. To protect yourself from the sun and heat you‘ll want to opt for loose, lightweight clothing in light colors and comfortable walking shoes. Jeans, shorts and T-shirts are acceptable stylewise, though denim can get pretty warm in tropical weather. When hitting the beach, pack along a long-sleeve cover up and wide-brimmed sunhat. For dinner‘s out, think collared shirts for men, and semi-casual dresses for women.
