Cool Season in the Dominican Republic

Winters in the Dominican Republic (October to May) are pleasant, with a low of only about 65°F (18°C) and low humidity. Temperatures cool the higher you go into the Cordillera Central Mountains. Hot Season in the Dominican Republic

Summers in the Dominican Republic (June to September) can get hot and humid, with midday highs reaching as high as 90°F (32°C). May to November is the southern region’s rainier season, when heavy rain comes in short bursts, with sunshine quickly prevailing.
June through November is is the Caribbean’s official hurricane season, but the Dominican Republic’s hurricane activity is historically limited to August and September.
